Symphony No. 41 in C Major, K. 551, “Jupiter” The New York String Orchestra’s annual Christmas Eve concert at Carnegie Hall is a beloved holiday tradition. This season, the musicians celebrate with an all-Mozart program that features the overture to The Marriage of Figaro, the “Turkish” Violin Concerto No. 5—played by Nancy Zhou, winner of the 2018 Shanghai Isaac Stern International Violin Competition—and the “Jupiter” Symphony, the composer’s final work in the form and one of his crowning achievements.
